About Me

I’m Nikalas Nowell. Most people call me Niki.  I like both names, so you choose.  They are both fun and beautiful to me.

I’m an explorer on a spiritual journey.  An adventurer through the hills and valleys of this life, stopping to smell the flowers and dump the rocks out of my shoes.  I’ve victoriously planted flags on mountaintops, and plunged to excruciating depths of the sea.  No matter where I am physically, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally, I am loved by God and saved by His grace.  I am fully His and I make no apologies for that.  I’m striving to live in the freedom that is mine and I’m extending that invitation to fellow travelers who long to experience it for themselves.

I am married to Benny, my college sweetheart.  We are pioneer parents to our three children, Max – 9, Zoe – 6, and Pete-5.  Our family founded a ministry/non-profit organization to love people as Jesus did.  Our focus is two-fold.  The first is on the homeless and at-risk youth and young adults in north Denver and Boulder County areas.  The second is on church people, teaching, training, and challenging them to live out missional lives in their own communities.  You can read more about us by clicking on the SEVENS tab, or visiting our website at www.sevensonline.org.

My current “Niki time” passions are writing, reading, playing Bella – my beautiful guitar, and homeschooling.  But as a friend told me recently…I am so much more than all of these things.
